Forget Nintendo Wii, Playstation and other video games. Why? Your kids will never learn anything from them. Their brains will never develop. Instead these video games will stunt the growth of your kids’ brains.

When you play video games for many hours and don’t spend enough time going out, it could lead to social problems resulting in your kids becoming shy and introvert. And don’t get me started on the levels of violence that you can find in most of the games nowadays. Slowly but surely, your kids will tend to lose control and become more aggressive.

How about Webkinz? Is Webkinz any different from the above?

I know how addictive Webkinz can be. I know how long one can spend in the Webkinz World and forget everything in the offline world once they’re there. I know how my niece rather skips her meals to play with her Webkinz online. I’m guilty of that too. And I’m sure you too have missed a meal or two before. They don’t call it a craze for nothing. So, if you are a parent, you should limit your child’s time inside the Webkinz World. Though it’s easier said than done, you have no other choice but to do it. What you can do is set a timer next to the computer. Otherwise Webkinz can really occupy your children’s time and turn them into one of those video gamers and then the effects that Webkinz has on your kids will be no different than the effects that the video games have on them.

Apart from all that, apart from all the fun that your kids can have with Webkinz, I do believe that Webkinz will give something that no other toys or video games can ever give to your children. Something so valuable that nothing else can offer. Do you know what that something is?

Rules and regulations are made to be broken. That happens everywhere and sad to say that it also happens in the Webkinz World. While most of us entering the Webkinz World are to have fun, unbelievably some of us are there to break the Webkinz rules that could result in creating a lot of problems there.

If you are guilty of this, please follow the rules made by Ganz. Why are you doing this? You are spoiling everybody’s fun. We just wanna have fun. Period. We don’t want you to spoil it for us. If you still insist to do so, please do it elsewhere. Not in the Webkinz World. Or else, along with the brilliant people at Ganz, we will also hunt you down.

Luckily for us, the cool guys at Ganz are trying their best to improve the Webkinz site for all of us law abiding Webkinz citizens, so that our accounts are well protected.

If you get to my Webkinz website one way or another, no matter how you got to be here, chances are you too have been bitten by the Webkinz bug. If you haven’t yet, you will soon enough. So how does this one company from Canada called Ganz make you go crazy over their cute plush toys?

Is it due to the fact that these Webkinz toys from Ganz are too cute to resist or is it due to its interactive nature? Probably a little bit of both or probably more than that. I simply have no right answer to that question. But I do know for a fact that being in the Webkinz World makes me feel so happy and free. There, I’m able to create my own world, not only for my Webkinz pet. It’s like my day will not be complete if I don’t visit the Webkinz World. Sometimes, I get so worried that I might be losing it and being 31 this year doesn’t help me at all.

Now, before everybody panics, take a deep breath for a while. Is Webkinz becoming unpopular? Do you think that Webkinz toys will become a one hit wonder? Do you think that its trend will die in the next two years or so?

It’s true for a fact that every year more and more toys are coming out and flood the already booming market. People buy toys all the time for their children, especially for Christmas. But none of them hardly survive the test of time. Maybe one or two. Remember Tickle Me Elmo that came out not too long ago? Remember how people just got crazy over it? Many even camped outside of toy stores everywhere to buy it once the stores opened. How about them Ty Beanie Babies? You remember them too?

For those who don’t know, Webkinz are actually stuffed animals or plush toys as you’d like to call them. Each animal or Webkinz toy comes equipped with a special code that you can use to access using the Internet to the ‘Webkinz World’. Inside, you are able to adopt a virtual version of your pet. With me so far? Good.

Upon adoption of your first Webkinz pet, you’ll be given basic items such as a room and some money. The currency that they use is called Kinzcash. You’ll get 2000 Kinzcash for you to use to buy stuff for your pet. You can also earn more Kinzcash by playing multiple minigames for free, including arcade games and quizzes.
